Mary Barry's independent recording, Red Eye Tonight snags an ECMA nomination for Jazz Recording of the Year!

Mary Barry heads to Corner Brook

After a whirlwind year of concerts and tours from all the way to the Deep South in Alabama to the shores of the Gulf Islands in British Columbia, Mary Barry's bags are packed once again.

With five showcase performances lined up and an ECMA Jazz Recording of the Year nomination for her widely acclaimed CD, Red Eye Tonight, Mary Barry is heading to Corner Brook, NL for the 2009 ECMAs.

Barry will perform in her many persona in solo, duo, trio and quintet. She is showcasing her rootsy side at the ECMA Roots Room, her cabaret chanteuse side at the Soirée Cabaret Français, and her jazz songbird style with her band on the Music NL stage. And if you've never met Marie Framboise, you will have a chance to discover her, too, on the Francophone Discovery Stage. Lucky visitors to Gitano's Jazz Club will also catch Mary and her band.
